Blueberry Café
Call it cute. Call it cozy. Call it very, very blue. This delightful little cottage is one of the highest-rated breakfast restaurants in Naples. It features the full spectrum of breakfast favorites. Blueberry pancakes, egg and potatoes, pigs in a blanket, waffles, ham and swiss eggs benedict, burritos, French toast, and more help round out the fun and varied menu. Everyone’s favorite breakfast choice is somewhere here.
Blueberry is also extremely affordable, making this a top choice if you got a big group and a tight vacation budget. Unlike EJ’s, Blueberry Café is open late, from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily (3 p.m. on Sunday). It is located at 3350 Tamiami Trail N.
Bill’s Café
The underappreciated Naples gem, Bill’s Café, is all about a good old fashioned American breakfast. You will find a mix of potatoes, eggs, pancakes, French toast, bacon and sausage all over the menu in a variety of different plate mixes. Bill’s also opens up for lunch, and delivers some favorite local sandwiches, like the Pork Tenderloin and the BLT. The portions are huge and the surprises are few. If you walk into Bill’s and smell the bacon, you know exactly what you are going to get- a straightforward plate of America’s finest breakfast offerings.
You can find Bill’s Café nestled away in the plaza at 947 3rd Ave N. it is open every day, without fail, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is a great place to fill up before a big day of shopping in Naples, Florida.
EJ’s Bayfront Café
EJ’s is the quintessential Naples breakfast nook. Tucked away in a shopping plaza by the water, this Naples gem has all the best pieces of any good breakfast- a pet-friendly outdoor patio, locally purchased fresh ingredients, and a breakfast bar top area, to name a few.
Some of our favorite menu items include the Crab Cake Benedict, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce covering thick crab cakes and tomatoes, as well as the Bayfront Scramble, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, onions, avocado, and bacon coated in spoonfuls of sour cream and salsa. There’s also the vegetarian Skillet, a home fry platter soaked in cheddar cheese, eggs, asparagus, and a slew of fresh vegetables.
EJ’s is perhaps most well-known for its fantastic brunch. But be sure to be there early in the day. EJ’s Bayfront Café is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Goldie’s Restaurant
Blink and you may miss Goldie’s Restaurant, nestled at 5400 Taylor Rd #105. Breakfast and lunch are served all day, and free delivery to our nearby Naples beachfront rentals is also available. Goldie’s is most well-known for its delicious soup of the day and other daily specials. These may include Corned beef hash, Chicken and Biscuits, Crab Omelet, and a plate full of pancakes.
But the standards, on the everyday menu, include the Eggs Benedict, Country Fried Steak, bagel and Eggs, and the massive Belgian Waffle. Goldie’s has an impressive lunch menu if you manage to miss your typical breakfast meal time (though breakfast is served all day). Goldie’s sticks to the basics- delicious food, a quality environment, and big plates.
