The History of the Naples Pier
Newly renovated and built in 1888, the pier was originally built as a freight and passenger dock and continues to be a landmark of the community to this day. Parking
The Naples Pier is incredibly easy to reach right from the Gulf Shore Boulevard. There are plenty of parking spaces and easy walking distance to any shops, restaurants, and other things to do in downtown Naples. The Naples trolley also makes it very easy to get around throughout the city as it makes regular stops all throughout the city every single day.
The street is metered parking and is located nearby with additional parking and access points all along the Gulf Shore Boulevard. Parking is $1.25 at a minimum for the first ½ hour and then $.25 for every 6 minutes after that. If you are looking to pay hourly, it is $2.50 per hour. Payment can be made in cash, quarters, and all major credit and debit cards.
Beach parking is also available from the city of Naples or Collier County. If you’re a full-time resident, you’re able to get a permit from any Community Park. Visitors are able to pay for parking at the pay station. For any additional information, you can call 239-213-1800.
